Who is Tony?

Tony Barnard started on guitar in 1970, studying both jazz and classical music passing all the appropriate exams. Soon he was teaching in schools and at conservatory level. He has composed for and appeared in television series, commercials, stage shows and movies and has performed with the Australian Chamber Orchestra at the Sydney Opera House. He has appeared at all of Australia's jazz festivals, accompanied visiting jazz and show-biz stars from overseas, won 'best guitarist' polls, led his own bands and worked as musical director on cruise ships.
